We are seeking an energetic and engaging Program Coordinator – Emergency Medical Services to join our EMS team supporting a major industrial facility in Mount Vernon, Indiana! In this leadership role, you will coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of an on-site Emergency Medical Services program at a major industrial facility. You will provide administrative and clinical oversight for the EMS team while supporting emergency medical response, staff development, client communication, compliance, and overall program performance. Requirements

  • Active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), AEMT or Paramedic license in the state of Indiana
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA requirements
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively supervise and support EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately protect employee health information
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong client and team relationship
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in an industrial setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of ProgressiveHealth EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics assigned to the site
  • Ensure EMS staff follow site policies, protocols, client expectations, and Indiana EMS scope requirements
  • Coordinate staff scheduling and provide 24/7 on-call telephone support to EMS team members as needed
  • Train staff on site policies, protocols, and proper use of equipment
  • Review staff performance, including annual performance reviews and corrective action plans when necessary
  • Provide patient care support and emergency medical response as needed
  • Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA requirements
  • Administer occupational health screenings and surveillance services as needed, including drug screenings, hearing tests, spirometry, and respirator fit testing
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling, policy and protocol maintenance, report generation, and supply/equipment ordering
  • Oversee supply inventory and equipment and vehicle checks
  • Review and approve staff timesheets and supply orders to support compliance with the site budget
  • Maintain accurate records and protect employee health information
  • Participate in client meetings and discussions regarding EMS program performance
  • Provide run report status updates and other program information to the client
  • Maintain a strong client relationship and support the delivery of high-quality services
