The Program Coordinator supports the administrative operations for the successful implementation of adult programming. Duties include coordinating details related to program content and production, managing departmental program and meeting schedules, communications, payments, budget tracking, and record keeping of departmental statistics as well as coordinating special projects as assigned and teaching studio classes. This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Acts in a confidential capacity and serves as a point of contact in the absence of department manager. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as are flexibility and commitment to working as part of a team. This role is directly tied to helping the CMA achieve its strategic mission as a leading venue for artistic and cultural exchange by supporting programs through object-based conversations that highlight multiple perspectives and voices. Programs include onsite lectures, conversations, gallery talks, performances, studio classes, and interactive projects with artists.
