About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Program Controls Scheduling Manager to lead scheduling across complex, medium- to large-scale, multi-project programs. The role integrates individual project schedules into a cohesive program schedule and manages interdependencies, risks, and resource alignment. The manager partners with project managers and senior leadership to support strategic decisions and program objectives from early estimating through construction and closeout. The position also provides scheduling oversight to project controls teams, mentors teams, and supports the delivery of transportation programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience in schedule management on transportation, water, and aviation infrastructure programs.
Experience managing schedule evolution from estimating through design, construction, and closeout, including changes.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute scheduling activities for medium- to large-scale programs.
Lead scheduling across multiple projects, aligning project schedules with program objectives and integrating them into a comprehensive program schedule.
Analyze interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts.
Collaborate with project managers on resource allocation and utilization.
Work with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives and align them with organizational goals.
Provide scheduling guidance and oversight to project controls teams.
Implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies, evaluating and adjusting them as needed.
Facilitate timely communication between project teams and stakeholders about program developments.
Provide senior leadership with analytical updates on program progress, challenges, and achievements to inform decisions.
