About The Position

This position covers San Bernardino and surrounding areas. The role works in our Early Intervention program, focusing on children diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability, specifically within the infant-toddler age range (0-3 years old). The team is described as creative and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the people they serve.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required (Acceptable majors include Psychology, Sociology, Child/Human Development, etc.).
One year of work-related experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury, youth placed at-risk, etc. - primarily experience working with children and their parents/guardians is sought for this role.
Valid CA Driver's license.
At least one year as a licensed driver (in any US state).
Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and independently problem-solve.
Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to build rapport with a team.
Flexible availability desired.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of services, case management, behavior intervention plans, and treatments provided to individuals served.
Oversee all services provided to individuals and their families, monitor quality of care delivered, ensure compliance with contractual terms, and monitor regulatory program compliance.
Assist in the development of quality services and engaging activities that meet the individual served needs.
Build and maintain relationships with families and external case managers.
Use ABA and behavioral skills and knowledge to provide an extra level of support to challenging cases and support the Early Intervention Specialists.
Provide supervision, training, and guidance to Early Intervention Specialists on special techniques and skills in working with parents and children.
