About The Position

Annandale Village is a nonprofit community supporting adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Our residents—known as Villagers—live with dignity, purpose, and connection across our campus. The Program Center is a place where Villagers build skills, foster relationships, explore interests, and engage in meaningful activities that promote independence and community involvement. Through vocational opportunities, life enrichment, and individualized programming, the Program Center helps create experiences that support each Villager's goals and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Special Education, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Recreation Therapy, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or other special populations preferred.
  • Experience managing programs, services, activities, or operations in a human services or healthcare environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and electronic documentation systems.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Georgia Class C Driver's License, proof of insurance, and acceptable MVR.
  • Must pass GBI and FBI background checks, including fingerprinting.
  • Must pass drug screening and tuberculosis screening.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Program Center, ensuring programs and activities support the interests, abilities, and goals of Villagers.
  • Support vocational, educational, recreational, and community engagement opportunities that promote meaningful participation and personal growth.
  • Coordinate program schedules, activities, and resources to meet the changing needs of Villagers and the organization.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Program Center staff.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development of team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and person-centered service.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation to support daily operations and Villager needs.
  • Promote services that align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and person-centered practices.
  • Support documentation, incident reporting, and electronic recordkeeping within Annandale’s health record and other organizational systems as required.
  • Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and program evaluation activities.
  • Support individualized service planning and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care and services.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized services and person-centered planning for Villagers.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of Villager support plans, specialized programming, and skill-building initiatives as assigned to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with residential, clinical, social services, and program staff to support consistent implementation of individualized supports across campus.
  • Support assessments, documentation, and communication that contribute to positive Villager outcomes and continuity of services.
  • Partner with residential, clinical, transportation, social services, and other departments to coordinate services and activities for Villagers.
  • Support transportation planning and community participation opportunities in collaboration with the Transportation team.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and organizational initiatives that support Villager outcomes.
  • Foster positive relationships with Villagers, families, team members, and community partners.
  • Support budgeting, purchasing, and responsible use of program resources.
  • Ensure program spaces, equipment, and materials support a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
  • Monitor operational needs and partner with organizational leadership to support effective service delivery.
  • Support organizational initiatives and special projects.
  • Provide direct support to Villagers as needed to ensure quality services and a positive experience.
  • Perform other duties in the best interest of Annandale Village and the Villagers we serve.
