About The Position

The Jewish United Fund (JUF) is seeking a mission-driven Program Associate for Teen Philanthropy and Engagement. This role is responsible for leading and growing JUF's teen philanthropy initiatives, designing and implementing strategies to deepen teen engagement in Jewish values-driven giving, and collaborating with local organizations to deliver educational content. The position offers a hybrid schedule and a supportive, inclusive work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in education, social work, nonprofit management, or related field or associate’s degree plus two years of full-time work experience
  • 1+ year of work experience, preferably in youth engagement, camping, or an educational setting
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office required
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for inspiring young leaders
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in social media platforms
  • Knowledge of basic Jewish values, customs, and rituals

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all teen philanthropy programs, including the implementation of Honeycomb curricula and Amplifier resources
  • Oversee recruitment, application processes, and participant onboarding
  • Develop and manage marketing and outreach campaigns
  • Build partnerships with local, national, and international nonprofits to source impactful grant proposals
  • Cultivate relationships with Jewish educators and youth professionals across Chicago to expand program reach
  • Manage teen philanthropy program budget
  • Maintain accurate participant data and engagement records in Salesforce
  • Represent JUF Teens at professional development and networking events
  • Support department-wide teen initiatives, including occasional evening, weekend, and travel-based programming
  • Support JUF Campaign and mandatory campaign-related activities on an ongoing basis
