About The Position

The Program Assistant provides assistance and support to our Cardiac Rehab facility. This role will support the Cardiac Rehab department and will process cardiac rehab referrals for all 7 cardiac rehab locations. The primary location will be in Royal Oak, with willingness to travel to the Troy location when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook

Responsibilities

• Process cardiac rehab referrals for all 7 cardiac rehab locations.
• Data entry, clerical and computer tasks
• Maintains the database
• Files and copies paperwork/charts
• Completes reports
• Answers phones
• Completes chart audits
• Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
