About The Position

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Assistant. We’re looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.

Requirements

• High School graduate or the equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required at date of hire by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Current CNA Licensure preferred.
• Previous hospital/medical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquires training and clinical experience while providing logistical support for operations of the Respiratory Care/Pulmonary Rehab Department.
• Possesses sufficient training and experience to perform independent professional care with guidance from a qualified Respiratory Care Practitioner including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and the review of care based on the needs of the patient.
• Maintains, cleans, sterilizes, and prepares equipment and supplies utilized by the Respiratory Care/Pulmonary Rehab Department.
• Assembles equipment and supplies in preparation for use and renders basic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direct supervision of a qualified Respiratory Care Practitioner only after receiving adequate, documented orientation and training with demonstrated proficiency in compliance with the policies and procedures of the Hospital.
• Follows universal precautions as exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue is possible during employment.
