About The Position

Washington State University's Office of Admissions is seeking a Program Assistant to support their operations. This role involves application review, records management, student communication, and administrative support. The Program Assistant will review and process undergraduate applications, exercise independent judgment in supporting admissions decisions, manage confidential information, maintain student records, and assist with clerical and operational projects. This position directly contributes to student success and the university's enrollment objectives. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period and training, the position may be eligible for a hybrid telework agreement, assessed and extended on a semester basis.

Requirements

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of full-time clerical experience OR equivalent education/experience.
  • Demonstrated computer software skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the admissions process.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
  • Experience with WSU Student Information System.
  • Experience with Slate CRM.
  • Experience working with student records.
