About The Position

The Clerical Staff position provides administrative and clerical support to program leadership and direct service staff to support efficient program operations. Responsibilities may include file organization, data entry, scheduling assistance, preparation of program materials, and support with documentation and office tasks. This position supports the daily functioning of agency programs and assists staff in maintaining organized and accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with agency policies and procedures. Clerical Staff do not provide direct services to children or families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage information appropriately
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain appropriate automobile insurance if transportation responsibilities are assigned
  • Must not have been convicted of child abuse or neglect, or a felony involving harm or threatened harm to an individual within the 10 years immediately preceding the date of hire
  • Must not be listed on the central registry as a perpetrator of child abuse or child neglect

Nice To Haves

  • Prior administrative or clerical experience in a human services, healthcare, or office setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to program leadership and direct service staff

  • Prepare and organize program materials and related documents
  • Handle confidential information in a professional and appropriate manner
  • Assist with file organization, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance
  • Support compliance with agency policies and applicable confidentiality requirements
  • Complete assigned clerical tasks in a timely and organized manner
  • Maintain professional communication with staff and community partners as appropriate
  • Demonstrate reliability, organization, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate the ability to accept and apply feedback
  • Participate in required meetings and trainings as assigned
