The Program Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and programmatic support to faculty and staff within our division, Biomedical Informatics and AI, at the Department of Public Health Sciences and Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), specifically supporting the Cancer Integrated Data-Enabled Resource (CIDER) and other large initiatives. This role supports the coordination and day-to-day operations of both internal and extramurally funded programs with focus on biomedical and clinical informatics, data science and artificial intelligence. Responsibilities include supporting program operations, coordinating communications with research stakeholders and patients, managing schedules and logistics, and assisting with financial and administrative processes. The position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic research environment while contributing to the successful execution of program and research objectives.
