About The Position

Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) serves to sustainably improve population health and wellbeing and safeguard against health-related threats by advancing the use of evidence through human-centered design for the advancement of health and health equity. To advance this mission, CGHPI seeks a Program Assistant to provide meeting support, events planning, and logistics management for the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. - Technical Assistance Provider (EHE-TAP) project. The Program Assistant for Meetings, Events, and Logistics Management plays a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of events, meetings, and logistics across the EHE-TAP project. The position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing program meetings, including regional workshops, learning collaboratives, and technical assistance workshops, as well as providing administrative assistance to the project and CGHPI team. The incumbent will be the central point of contact for project meetings and will be responsible for managing all aspects of these events. This includes coordinating logistics, coordinating travel, managing schedules, and providing administrative support to both internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, business administration, program management, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience relevant to the role

Responsibilities
