The Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Kindezi program, including the Program Director, Clinical Program Manager, and Program Coordinator. Direct service responsibilities include outreach, participant recruitment, enrollment, intake, and resource linkage to facilitate access to mental health services, supportive perinatal care, and other concrete resources. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships and engage and motivate participants, and up-to-date knowledge of community resources. The position also helps coordinate seamless collaboration among community partners, including UCSF EMBRACE, Rafiki Coalition, and Homeless Children's Network's Black Birthing Health Initiative (BBHI), to reduce logistical barriers and promote high-quality, coordinated care.
