About The Position

The Program Assistant Manager is responsible for directly supervising "Sub" (PRN) direct support team members, completing 6-month and annual performance reviews, and overseeing the training and certification process for direct reports. This role involves monitoring, reviewing, and approving direct reports' timesheets and PTO requests, ensuring the completion of daily service notes, daily attendance, and other required documentation. The Program Assistant Manager also provides regular feedback and retraining when necessary. In terms of financial oversight, the role includes completing rep-payee paperwork when applicable, coordinating tax filing, monitoring resource limits, and establishing ABLE/Pooled Asset Trusts as needed. It also involves coordinating the completion of SSA/SSI/SSDI benefit paperwork, approving the payment of bills, and monitoring all financial documents for accuracy and spending integrity. The Program Assistant Manager is also responsible for submitting and coding credit card receipts appropriately and approving credit card receipts of program purchases submitted by the Residential Supervisor. For incident management, the role requires following all incident reporting based on state requirements, obtaining Certified Investigator Training/Certification, ensuring all incidents requiring investigation are started and finished within the required timeframe, and participating in and coordinating follow-up procedures after admin reviews. In terms of compliance, the Program Assistant Manager ensures team members are trained and up to date on individuals' PCPs/ISPs, guarantees all plans and protocols are accurate and revised annually or as necessary, and ensures that themselves and their direct reports complete all mandatory trainings and certifications within required timeframes. This includes completing monthly site assessments, implementing and ensuring completion of correction plans, and actively participating in licensing reviews.

Requirements

  • associate's degree + 4 years of relevant experience supporting individuals with IDD; OR bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience; OR master's degree + 1 year of experience
  • 2 years of supervisory experience (supervising two or more team members)
  • valid U.S. driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience (NOTE time spent driving on a learner's permit/provisional license does NOT count toward this 2-year requirement)
  • must be willing and able to undergo pre-employment and random drug screening
  • must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • must be at least 18 years old
