About The Position

The Program Assistant I will provide administrative and programmatic support within the AIDS Institute’s Office of Grants, Data Management and Quality. Responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and implementation of quality improvement technical assistance capacity building programs, including learning collaboratives and quality improvement trainings; coordinating meeting content and trainings with providers and staff; assisting in providing technical assistance to providers; assisting with the development of program materials (e.g., presentations, data analyses, monitoring and evaluation reports) and communications with participants, funders, AIDS Institute staff, and external stakeholders (e.g., via reports, email communications); and participating in special projects. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of administrative and/or financial experience, human resources, operations or other program activities; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience.
  • A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
