About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Functional Area and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
  • You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector overseeing complex projects, resolving challenges, coordinating and managing teams, briefing senior leadership to ensure transparency and mutual understanding for the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple lines of effort (LOE) associated with tri-lateral information release, disclosure, transfer, and system access workstreams, requiring complex program management, programmatic analysis, and portfolio management.
  • Facilitate cross-LOE communication and partnership to ensure appropriate stakeholders are aware of issues and decisions.
  • Act as a liaison between the LOEs, leadership and all external stakeholders to promote transparency and mutual understanding.
  • Oversee records management, ensuring documentation of challenges, actions, and solutions for historical purposes and transparency.
  • Serve as management and strategy advisor using a high level of discernment and judgment to address a variety of interrelated subject matters such as financial, technical, logistics, and other program office focus areas.
  • Pro-actively develop products, processes and approaches with only strategic guidance and minimal senior oversight.
  • Work with leadership to develop strategies, objectives, plans, procedures and directives to implement, manage, and report on complex issues related to the AUKUS trilateral strategic partnership.
