About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Control Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking the financial and administrative health of our projects from inception to completion. This role is critical to ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget, and it requires seamless collaboration with project managers, engineers, and our finance department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience within the program
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining processes and coordinating with multi functional teams.
  • Prior experience within the DoD, particularly working with weapon system program offices.

Responsibilities

  • Budget Estimate Development: Create and develop detailed budget estimates for upcoming and ongoing projects.
  • Charge Code Development: Develop and maintain charge codes for personnel and project assignment.
  • Project Hours Assignment: Allocate and monitor project hours to engineering team members for precise labor tracking and budget adherence.
  • Project Closeouts: Manage all aspects of project closeouts, ensuring all financial and administrative tasks are reconciled.
  • Submissions to PP&C: Prepare and submit all required project documentation to the Program Planning & Control (PP&C) office.
  • Travel Closeouts: Finalize and process all remaining travel-related expenses and documentation.
  • Submissions to FM: Submit comprehensive financial reports and documentation to the Financial Management (FM) department.
  • 45/90 Day BE Follow-Ups: Conduct timely 45 and 90-day follow-ups on Budget Estimates (BE) to ensure accuracy and report on project financial status.
