About The Position
This position serves as the Senior Program Analyst for Medicaid Managed Care Standard Plans. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director of Standard Plans and supports this position in oversight monitoring and operations of the Standard Plan contract. This position is integral to the administration of Standard Plan contracts and serves as a support and liaison between the Medicaid business units and Standard plans for issues of implementation and ongoing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and five (5) years of progressive experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

- Demonstrated leadership experience in implementing large multi-disciplinary project.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or strong business, management, or policy background
- Working knowledge of one (1) or more of the following NC Medicaid Programs: Physical Health, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, or Long-term services and supports.
- Strong working knowledge of North Carolina Medicaid Managed Care program or other Medicaid Managed Care programs
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems, employing analytical thinking and professional knowledge
