About The Position

This position provides front office support services, including operational, administrative, and technical assistance, to key leadership within the DSCA Director, Deputy Director, Chief of Staff, Deputy AD for Strategic Outreach, and the Strategic Outreach Directorate. The role is crucial for supporting the agency’s legislative priorities and involves program management and operational administrative duties related to the execution, coordination, and management of DoD activities. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD and/or federal government staff, possess excellent analytical skills, and be capable of multitasking in a high-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, foreign or international relations, national security studies, or a field directly related to the contract.
  • Two (2) years of recent experience supporting senior level DoD staff (flag officer- equivalent).
  • MS Office Suite experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to undergo a government background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management and operational administrative duties related to the execution, coordination, and management of DoD activities.
  • Daily communication with flag officer-level DSCA personnel to coordinate activities.
  • Submit component recommendations to appropriate functional managers regarding correspondence templates and review the component directives program to ensure it is up to date.
  • Continuously review, evaluate, and generate reports regarding component issues, status, and trends.
  • Seek out opportunities and identify ways to improve management and administrative processes to increase efficiency or effectiveness of the organization.
  • Safeguard classified material IAW DoD policies; monitor and comply with Records Management policies and procedures.
