About The Position

Kimley-Horn's Charlotte office is seeking an experienced Program Analyst - Eminent Domain with 2+ years of experience to join their Transportation Planning & Traffic Operations team. This role involves supporting project teams in the coordination and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects, with a specific focus on eminent domain and right-of-way acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Public Administration, Communications, Political Science, Geography, Transportation, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in the coordination and delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with eminent domain and right-of-way acquisition efforts, including document management, tracking property impacts, and coordinating project information.
  • Maintain project schedules, action item logs, milestones, and deliverable tracking tools.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, planners, surveyors, appraisers, attorneys, government agencies, and property owners as needed.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, status reports, correspondence, and project documentation.
  • Organize and maintain project files, databases, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Track project budgets, invoices, contracts, and task progress.
  • Assist with public involvement activities, stakeholder outreach, and agency coordination efforts.
  • Review project documentation for completeness, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
  • Support proposal preparation, project setup, and other operational needs as requested.
