About The Position

This is a part-time contract position, up to 32 hours per week, with multiple positions available. The role is a summer opportunity at the Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth (CBFY). The Program Administrator will be the backbone of program operations, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes while supporting teams that change lives every day. The work directly supports immigrant and refugee youth as they build new lives in Canada.

Requirements

  • Must be 15-30 years of age
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Official Refugee Protection Status)
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Ability to multitask and stay proactive
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A collaborative and positive attitude
  • First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Police Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Intervention Check (or willingness to obtain)

Nice To Haves

  • A degree (or working toward one) in Business Administration or a related field
  • 1–2 years of administrative or non-profit experience

Responsibilities

  • Managing schedules, meetings, and calendars
  • Coordinating events and activities
  • Taking and sharing meeting minutes
  • Supporting recruitment of program participants
  • Managing and organizing data to support reporting and decision-making
  • Strengthening communication across teams and programs
  • Preparing reports for leadership and program management
  • Collaborating with a supportive team of Program Administrators
  • Providing guidance to volunteers and practicum students when needed
