The Program Administrator 2 reports directly to the co-directors of the Center for Experimental Therapeutics (CET) and manages administrative operations for the CET and its affiliated divisions, including the Center for Radiochemistry Research (CRR) and the Knight Cancer Institute. In addition to high-level executive support—such as complex calendar management, travel coordination, and confidential document preparation—the role oversees daily business operations. Key duties include managing supply purchasing, processing reimbursements, soliciting equipment quotes in Oracle, and preparing quarterly reports on resource usage, scientific impact, invoicing, and billing. The Administrator also collaborates with HR to drive recruitment, interview panels, and student/staff onboarding, while partnering with Knight Finance and Grants Management to assist with annual budgeting, business model reviews, and executive reporting. This demanding position requires exceptional attention to detail, polished writing skills, and the utmost discretion when handling sensitive information. Serving as a primary liaison to internal teams, external partners, GRAs, and patients, the Administrator must work independently and resourcefully in a high-expectation environment. Success in the role relies on strong critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and a high degree of tact, diplomacy, and flexibility across all responsibilities.
