About The Position

Serve as coordinator & technical advisor for OSHP Retiree Outreach Programs & Initiatives; Evaluate & implement new programs as directed by Colonel; Responds to programmatic issues or needs of current OSHP staff &/or retiree's. Communicate directives, policy & process changes, requests for information, etc. from Colonel(s) to appropriate personnel & initiate follow up to ensure it is completed; Serve as point of contact with retirement system, retirement association, union & retirees in regards to meetings, events, special announcements, etc.. Formulate & implement new or modify existing policies & procedures for OSHP Retiree Outreach program; Provides advice & recommendations to aid leadership in decision making. Maintain & communicate retiree contact & location, health situations & the illness/hospitalization report. Perform audit of retirement directory access and update as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Option 1: 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.
  • Option 2: Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
  • Option 3: Completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; AND 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
  • Option 4: 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
  • Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
