This position is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing program policies and procedures for PREA (Prison Rape Elimination Act) and ACA (American Correctional Association). The role involves coordinating projects, monitoring incidents for compliance, and acting as the Chairperson of the PREA Accommodation Strategy Team. Training institutional staff on PREA policies and procedures is a key responsibility. The Program Administrator manages and coordinates the entire ACA audit process, including maintaining files, gathering documentation, and coordinating inspections. This role serves as a liaison between the Operation Support Center Bureau of Agency Policy & Operational Compliance, the Warden, and institutional staff, directing efforts related to operational compliance and accreditation. The position involves conducting institution-wide inspections, recommending solutions for compliance, and monitoring progress. Electronic files are managed, and documentation for PREA and ACA audits is updated. The role also includes coordinating PREA Compliance Reviews, providing technical advice on accreditation processes, writing reports, and acting as the Field Policy Review Team Chairperson.
