About The Position

This position serves as a strategic analyst for assigned Division or District activities. The role involves leading efforts to plan, develop, deliver, monitor, and evaluate program areas. Key responsibilities include identifying and applying metrics for reporting and tracking, ensuring accountability and integrity, and maintaining clearly articulated business processes. The position also focuses on improving efficiencies and automation where feasible. The Prog Analyst will provide consulting services and customer support related to assigned program areas to management and staff, interpret existing policies and guidelines, and perform duties as assigned. Program support includes intake, metrics, evaluation, tracking, establishing business reports and practices, and proposing standards for uniform guidelines and procedures. The role also involves researching, analyzing, and developing policies, plans, and procedures for assigned program areas, and prioritizing reporting protocols to ensure data and metrics align with goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse audiences, varying levels of management, federal, state, and local governments, and the public.
  • Ability to research, compile and organize statistical data into reports.
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulations, policies, and practices.
  • Skill in the use of computers, software applications and reporting tools.

  • Ability to design, analyze and implement policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Knowledge of principles, practices and tools identified as essential to the assigned unit and program area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform special duties as assigned.
  • Serve as strategic analyst on activities associated with assigned Division or District.
  • Lead efforts to plan, develop, deliver, monitor, and evaluate assigned program areas.
  • Identify and apply metrics in reporting and tracking.
  • Ensure accountability, integrity, and clearly articulated business processes.

  • Research, compile and organize statistical data to explain and resolve discrepancies in processes or policies.
  • Continually monitor and evaluate assigned program areas.
  • Recommend solutions to issues to resolve problems.
  • Provide support for implementation of recommendations from credible sources and data.
  • Support other emerging needs related to operations for assigned program area.
  • Provide consulting services and customer services related to assigned program areas to management and staff.
  • Interpret existing policies and guidelines and explain their application to users.
  • Support program needs relative to intake, metrics, evaluation, tracking, and establishing business reports and practices.
  • Propose standards for the purpose of establishing uniform guidelines and procedures.
  • Research, analyze, and develop policies, plans, and procedures for assigned program areas.
  • Prioritize and establish reporting protocols and processes to ensure data and metrics are in alignment with goals and objectives.
