About The Position
Introduction to the verbal and non-verbal components of communication in health care and public health. Examination of the mechanisms and impact of communication disorders. Focus on the principles of communication in interdisciplinary contexts.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Health Sciences or equivalent
- Teaching experience at university level
- Training or demonstrated experience in the following areas: health promotion, health communication, communication in health care, patient counselling.
- Ability to deliver course in a hybrid distance mode.
- Availability to teach on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:50 PM.
Responsibilities
- Teach Introduction to the verbal and non-verbal components of communication in health care and public health.
- Examine the mechanisms and impact of communication disorders.
- Focus on the principles of communication in interdisciplinary contexts.
- Deliver course content in a hybrid distance format.
- Conduct classes on Wednesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:50 PM.
