About The Position

The University of Ottawa is seeking a Professor for the Fall 2026 academic period. This position involves teaching HSS2305C, a course covering major processes in molecular biology, the molecular biology of health conditions, and the ethical considerations and complex interactions of genetics, environment, and behavior. The mode of delivery is in-person, with a schedule of Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:20 PM. The university is committed to diversity, inclusion, and creating a barrier-free work environment. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in biomedical sciences, biology or equivalent.
  • University-level teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated health research in one or more of the following areas: cell biology, molecular biology.
  • Prerequisite: BIO1140.
  • Prerequisite or corequisite: HSS1100.
