About The Position
The Department of Pathology is recruiting for a faculty position in the Division of Liver, Kidney, Cardiac, Small Bowel, and Transplantation Pathology. The appointment stream can be Assistant Professor (5 years’ experience), Associate Professor (6-10 years of experience), or Professor (10+ years of experience). The successful candidate will contribute to diagnostic, research, and educational activities within the division, with responsibilities including reporting on allograft and native liver, heart, small bowel, and kidney biopsies. Academic development will be focused on scientific areas related to clinical interests and responsibilities. The division is equipped for advanced research techniques such as spatial and general tissue proteogenomic profiling, multiplex labeling, image analysis, and AI applications, offering unique opportunities for participation in multicenter study tissue analyses.
Requirements
- M.D degree
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology
- Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a large hospital-based native and allograft liver and kidney pathology service is desirable.
- Fellowship training in a relevant pathology subspecialty
- Interest in spatial and general tissue proteogenomic profiling, multiplex labeling, image analysis, and practical AI applications related to clinical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
