About The Position
The Management and Organization (M&O) Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a full-time tenure-track Full Professor in the areas of Organizational Behavior (OB), Organizational Theory (OT), or Strategy. This position is to fill the Smeal Chaired Professor of Management. The desired start date is Fall 2027. The department values high-level theoretical and empirical ability, collegiality, collaboration, and effective teaching of management and organizational concepts. The Smeal College of Business, part of Penn State's main campus in University Park, PA, is a highly-ranked business school with over 360 faculty and staff serving more than 9,000 students, focusing on integrity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
Requirements
- PhD.
- Proven track record in conducting high-quality scholarly research with sufficient impact on the field.
- Demonstrated teaching competence at a high level.
- Publications in premier journals.
- A research program with high-impact.
- Ability to connect with a wide array of doctoral students and faculty in our department.
- Onsite teaching is an essential function of the job.
Responsibilities
