Professor of Practice - Department of Marketing

About The Position

The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University invites applications for a Professor of Practice (25% FTE), career-track position to start in the AY26/27 academic year. Essential Functions : Contribute to the School’s mission in the areas of teaching and service. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to marketing with an emphasis on professional sales and artificial intelligence. Engage in service activities which may include helping to develop, execute, and lead student-focused events and activities particularly in the area of professional sales, working with student organizations, directing Honors theses, coaching marketing and sales competition teams, and participating on Department, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business (or a related field)
  • Ten or more years of experience working in sales and/or marketing-related role(s)

  • Demonstrated expertise in the area of marketing
  • Demonstrated expertise in the area of professional sales
  • Demonstrated knowledge of artificial intelligence through innovative teaching practices, cutting-edge research, and/or thought leadership in academic or professional communities
  • Demonstrated ability to teach marketing within an academic or corporate setting
  • Evidence of ability to innovate and work collaboratively to achieve goals
  • Success leading the marketing or the sales function within an organization
  • Graduate degree in business or relevant field
