About The Position

The Freeman School of Business at Tulane University is seeking to fill a full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Accounting at the rank of Professor of Practice. This appointment may be for one, two, or three years, commencing July 1, 2027. The role involves delivering rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning component. Professors of Practice are expected to maintain active engagement in their fields through professional and scholarly activities, as well as contribute service to the Freeman School and Tulane University. Requirements

Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field and a substantial record of recent professional experience (may include CPA certification).
OR Ph.D. in Accounting and actively engaged in scholarly and/or professional engagement activities.
Deep knowledge in Accounting.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to successfully teach undergraduate and graduate students.

Experience integrating AI and other new technologies into their courses is highly valued.
