About The Position
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine is seeking candidates at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position in the Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics (GSO) department. The role involves providing clinical services as a Maternal and Fetal Medicine physician, including inpatient/outpatient and consultative care at University Medical Center Hospital, Sunrise Hospital, and UNLV Health outpatient clinical locations in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will also participate in medical student and resident education and is expected to have an interest in scholarly activities. Proven abilities in medical student and resident education, clinical research, health outcomes, or education outcomes research are desirable. Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine prior to employment commencing.
- Eligible for a Nevada medical license.
- Eligible for malpractice coverage.
- Eligible for a State Board of Pharmacy license.
- Eligible for DEA license.
- Meet credentialing requirements.
- Able to obtain admitting privileges at applicable hospitals and/or clinics.
- Demonstrate support for diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
- Participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment.
