About The Position

The Department of Marketing in the Sam M. Walton College of Business is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Marketing (Open Rank) to start August 16, 2027. Candidates should demonstrate the potential to publish in top-tier academic journals and contribute meaningfully to the field of marketing research. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, mentor Ph.D. students, and engage in service activities at the Department, College, and University levels, consistent with rank. Opportunities may also be available to teach graduate courses and participate in Executive Education programs. Regular on-campus availability, in-person teaching, and active contribution to the life of the department, including exhibiting respect and cooperation in shared academic and administrative tasks, are essential duties.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. (not DBA) in marketing or a closely related field from an accredited university, conferred by the time the candidate begins the position.
  • Demonstrated potential or record of publishing in top-tier marketing journals commensurate with rank.
  • Demonstrated record of high-quality teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
