About The Position

This course focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability from multiple dimensions: self, others, the organization, and society. It explores the link between personal values, ethics, beliefs, attitudes, and CSR/sustainability. The course emphasizes action and provides opportunities for leadership development. Topics include social entrepreneurship, benefit corporations, carbon-negative businesses, regenerative business models, Cradle-to-Cradle design thinking, and the circular economy.

Requirements

Must have an MBA or a Master's degree (preferably a Doctorate) in strategy and sustainability/corporate social responsibility.
Must have recent professional experience directly related to strategy and sustainability.
Must have good teaching experience, preferably in planning and implementing sustainable business solutions.
Must be comfortable with a wide range of pedagogical approaches to support business sustainability.
Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.

Nice To Haves

Preferably a Doctorate in strategy and sustainability/corporate social responsibility.
Preferably experience in planning and implementing sustainable business solutions.

Responsibilities

Teach the course 'Leadership, Strategy and Sustainability' (ADM4717A).
Support sustainability in business through a wide range of pedagogical approaches.
Potentially adapt teaching mode due to health reasons or other factors.
Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
