About The Position
This is a part-time regular professor position for the Fall 2026 semester, teaching ADM4758A - Fusions et acquisitions at the Telfer School of Management. The course provides an overview of the mergers and acquisitions market, including hostile and friendly takeovers, private and public companies. It covers strategic and financial motivations, valuation of target companies, transaction structuring and financing, the M&A process stages (due diligence, negotiation, legal framework), and post-merger integration processes. The course will be delivered in person.
Requirements
- Must have an MBA (with a specialization in finance) or a Master's degree in Finance (or Economics).
- Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the finance field.
- Must have recent teaching experience in corporate finance.
- Must be a Regular Part-Time Professor.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Finance (or Economics) or a CFA would be preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course ADM4758A - Fusions et acquisitions.
- Provide an overview of the mergers and acquisitions market, including hostile and friendly takeovers, private and public companies.
