The University of Kansas School of Business is seeking applicants for an open rank Professor in Entrepreneurship. This search is open at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with an emphasis on Associate and Full Professors. The appointment level will be determined by the applicant's scholarly and teaching record. This is a full-time, academic year, tenure-track or tenured faculty position beginning August 18, 2027. The successful candidate will interact with students, faculty, the KU entrepreneurship ecosystem, and the broader international academic entrepreneurship community through research, teaching, and service. The University of Kansas is a leading research university with a strong tradition of academic excellence, and the School of Business has experienced significant growth, with enrollment approaching 5,000 students. Entrepreneurship programming is a key strategic focus, with robust degree programs, coursework, and co-curricular activities. In Fall 2027, KU will open a new 29,600 square foot facility, the Entrepreneurship Hub, dedicated to supporting student entrepreneurs. The School of Business is located in Capitol Federal Hall on KU’s main campus in Lawrence, a city known for its vibrant student population, live music scene, historic downtown, and proximity to Kansas City.
