About The Position
Molloy’s Tutoring Services tutors provide students with individualized assistance with course content and assignments. Professional Tutors lead one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions, helping students understand college-level courses from introductory to advanced levels. Tutors may work up to 25 hours per week and do not work during Intercession. The role is seasonal.
Requirements
- A master's degree and/or prior college-level teaching experience in an academic discipline.

Responsibilities
- Lead one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions.
- Help students understand key concepts in college-level introductory to advanced courses.
- Review syllabi topics and assignments with students.
- Assist students with homework, test preparation, and other academic tasks.
- Help students improve academic performance, including study strategies, note-taking skills, and approaches to answering test questions.
- Develop and distribute teaching materials, including study guides, to supplement classroom lessons.
- Provide students with positive and constructive feedback.
