About The Position

UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Limited Part-Time Professional Staff Nurse to support its office in Monroeville. Weekend and evening availability is required. Clinic hours are 4:30 p.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A sign-on bonus is available if applicable.

The nurse provides patient care using age-specific knowledge, critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practices. The role includes collaborating with physicians and team members, supporting patients and families, documenting care, and participating in professional development and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skills for age-specific patient care.
• Current RN licensure in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license under the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC), as applicable.
• Graduate nurses must complete the licensure examination within six months of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances.
• Employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who change residency to the state where the facility is located must apply for licensure in that state within 60 days.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum six months of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• UPMC-approved national certification preferred.
