About The Position

This position involves collaborating with multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) engineering teams to introduce and refine new platform services for large enterprises. The role also requires working with sales leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption for customers on the AWS platform. A key aspect is resolving GxP/HIPAA/GDPR compliance questions, managing risk, and achieving compliance in the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations, recommendations, and hands-on demonstrations of automating compliance. The individual will convey deep technical requirements from partner and enterprise customer feedback to AWS technology roadmaps and lead high-quality delivery of technical engagements with partners and enterprise customers to enable breakthrough business outcomes. Domestic travel up to 25% of the time may be required.

Requirements

  • A Master degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in job offered or information technology security or compliance and risk management related occupation.
  • In the alternative, a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or information technology security or compliance and risk management related occupation.
  • 3 years experience in communicating with users and cross functional teams and on cloud security, compliance, and automation.
  • 3 years of experience in cloud computing, including leading cloud transformation and high-level architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple Amazon Web Services (AWS) engineering teams to introduce and refine new platform services for the largest enterprises.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption for customers on the AWS platform.
  • Work to resolve GxP/HIPAA/GDPR compliance questions and to understand how to manage risk and achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and hands on demonstrations of automating compliance in the AWS environment.
  • Work with AWS engineering teams to convey deep technical requirements from partner and enterprise customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
  • Lead high quality delivery of a variety of deeply technical engagements with partners and enterprise customers enabling breakthrough business outcomes for customers.
  • Domestic travel 25% of time to perform role responsibilities may be required
