About The Position

As a Bilingual Hotel Security Officer in Puerto Rico, you will provide security for a variety of industries, including factories, retail (stores), shopping malls, pharmaceutical companies, corporate campuses, and more than 400 Fortune 500 companies.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Availability for rotating shifts and weekly itineraries.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English. English proficiency will be required for bilingual positions.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
  • License requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be necessary before employment. A valid driver's license from the jurisdiction of Puerto Rico will be required.
  • Possess customer service skills.
  • Possess a valid Puerto Rico driver's license.
  • Be available for credentialing and training processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by performing security and safety procedures, site-specific policies, and, when applicable, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Receive and channel processes in the employee and/or visitor reception area according to establishment rules and assigned post orders.
