About The Position

This is a renewable (term) position in business. We are seeking faculty members able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in one or more business disciplines, particularly in marketing, international business, management, or related subjects. Marist lecturers are expected to maintain robust connections to their discipline and the world of business. They also participate in the life of the School and its activities, including involvement in committee work, student advising and support, and community outreach activities. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for the position as a Professional Lecturer for the fall 2027 semester. We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load is 24 credits, typically distributed as a 4:4 course load.

Requirements

Masters degree in business or closely related field is required.
Significant professional experience is also required.

Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
Maintaining an active connection to the discipline and the world of business.
Advising students, taking part in service activities, and serving on committees as needed.
