About The Position

TAIT is hiring a Professional Land Surveyor for its Loveland, Colorado office. The role leads diverse surveying projects, including construction staking, topographic surveys, and boundary surveys, and helps ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality across field and office operations. Requirements

Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Colorado, or eligibility for licensure in other states.
At least 5 years of experience in the survey-mapping field, including field and office responsibilities.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Software, and Trimble one-man robotic systems.
Strong math, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with construction staking, boundary and topographic surveys, and DTM/GPS processing.

Responsibilities

Lead construction staking, topographic, and boundary surveys using Trimble robotic systems.
Direct field operations and support office processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, and Leica systems for data collection and deliverables.
Analyze and adjust survey data using tools such as Trimble Business Center and StarNet.
Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
Coordinate with project stakeholders.
