About The Position
The Markets Professional Development Program (Markets PDP) is a full-time career opportunity designed to provide strategic and comprehensive training across State Street's Sales, Trading, and Research business lines. This program is specific to State Street Markets, requiring distinct and diverse skill sets to drive global sales, trading, and business lines. Selected candidates will participate in up to 4 assignments across Markets, each lasting 6 months. The program includes an intensive orientation in Boston, assignments focused on accelerating critical Markets knowledge, skills, and experience, and access to training courses on financial markets, sponsorship for CFA, and essential business skills. State Street Markets is a leading provider of innovative solutions in financing, liquidity, and asset intelligence for investment professionals globally.
Requirements
- Graduating in December 2026 or May 2027.
- Strong interest in the global capital markets.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, quantitative finance, finance, economics, or liberal arts.
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong passion for learning and commitment to career development.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills required for a collegial, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional EQ.
Responsibilities
- Participate in up to 4 assignments across Markets, each running for 6 months.
