Professional Delivery Driver
About The Position
McDougall Energy is looking for a skilled and safety-focused individual to join their team as a Professional Delivery Driver for their Line Haul Division in their North Bay location. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of products while upholding a high standard of customer service. Safety is paramount, and drivers are expected to demonstrate safe driving practices and professional conduct on the roads and when interacting with customers. Requirements
- A valid AZ License with a minimum of two years driving experience
- Valid and clean commercial driver’s license
- Strong knowledge and proven history of safe driving, delivery, and dangerous goods handling practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to be a team player
- The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Numeric ability and strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service
- A strong comfort level with onboard computer technology
- Ability to work shift work
- Must have a safety and compliance mindset
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe delivery of bulk product to our client’s fleet, heavy equipment, generators, or bulk tanks within a designated area
- Inventory control of bulk product on truck
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and accurately complete related documentation
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer needs
- Use a handheld computer device to monitor the flow of fuel being input and disposed from the truck
