About The Position

Fountainhead Group is seeking a Professional Channel Sales Specialist to support sales activities within the professional contractor, industrial, and distribution markets. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role will assist with customer communication, account support, and sales initiatives that help the team achieve revenue and market growth goals. The ideal candidate is early in their sales career and interested in developing their knowledge of the professional end-user market. This role is for someone who is organized, customer-focused, willing to learn, and comfortable supporting distributors, dealers, contractors, and internal sales teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, account support, or business-related experience preferred.
  • Interest in working with distributor, dealer, contractor, industrial, or trade-focused customers.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, customer relationships, or channel sales preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills, with a willingness to learn.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems preferred.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, partner events, and customer meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or exposure to building products, industrial manufacturing, tools, safety equipment, plumbing, automotive aftermarket, or commercial equipment industries is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with distributors, dealers, contractors, or professional trade organizations is a plus.
  • Interest in supporting channel marketing, rebate programs, contractor engagement, or account initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day sales activities for accounts within the professional sales channel.
  • Assist in preparing sales materials, customer updates, and account information to support revenue goals.
  • Support and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, and other channel partners.
  • Support channel programs, contractor outreach, promotions, and customer engagement activities.
  • Assist with pricing information, promotional programs, rebate tracking, and customer follow-up.
  • Track sales activity, customer needs, market feedback, and competitive information and share relevant updates with the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to help support customer programs.
  • Assist with forecasting updates, account planning, CRM maintenance, trade shows, and customer meetings.
