About The Position

Curantis Home Care is hiring professional caregivers to provide in-home support to an 81-year-old female client who lives with her husband. The client needs help with mobility, transfers, personal care, and daily activities. The position is in Wellsville, PA, and Dover and surrounding areas. The schedule is 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, with one or two caregivers sharing the schedule. The role is expected to start as soon as possible following the client’s hospital discharge. Caregivers will assist with safe transfers and mobility, help maintain a safe environment for a client at high risk of falling, provide showering and personal care assistance, and prepare light meals. They are expected to treat the client, her husband, and their home with dignity and respect. The home has no pets and is smoke-free. Curantis welcomes caregivers from diverse backgrounds. English need not be a caregiver’s primary language, but they must be able to communicate and read English sufficiently to perform the role’s responsibilities safely and effectively.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
Experience with transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Working smartphone or smart device for electronic clock-in and clock-out.
Two professional references.
Ability to communicate and read English sufficiently to perform the essential responsibilities safely and effectively.
