About The Position

Preferred Care at Home of San Antonio North is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in West San Antonio, Castroville, and Hondo. The role involves assisting clients with personal care and mobility, preparing meals, performing light housekeeping, providing medication reminders, running errands, and offering companionship. Caregivers are expected to keep the office updated on changes in clients’ conditions. Pay is $14–$16 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit. Flexible schedules are available, including days, nights, and weekends. The employer provides phone-based clock-in and clock-out and support from its office team. Caregiving experience is preferred but not required; training is available for the right person.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Pass a criminal background check and registry checks.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
