About The Position

This is a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the Hydrology course (ENV/GEG3502-A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course focuses on water on Earth, its role in the planet's energy balance and climate, its impact as an agent of landscape formation through weathering and erosion, and its influence on human lives, particularly during floods. Students will develop skills in hydrological measurements and data sources, understand the hydrological cycle (from evaporation to runoff), learn about watershed hydrology and hydrograph separation, and explore water-shaped landscapes. Upon completion, students will be able to address key concepts related to water on Earth and its management.

Requirements

  • PhD in physical geography or a related discipline.
  • Teaching experience.
  • Ability to teach in French.
  • Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

  • Competence in a second language (though N/A is indicated for this specific posting).
