About The Position

This position is for a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course TSO4510 B00, "Intégration des expériences de stage II", during the Fall 2026 semester. The course is taught in French and is held in person. It focuses on ethical reflections and intervention experiences in various internship settings, critical analysis of one's own practices in relation to personal values as a social worker, and consideration of possible alternatives. The professor will be required to conduct internship visits at the beginning and end of the session with the internship organizations for supervision purposes. These meetings may take place off-campus.

Requirements

Master's degree or doctorate in social work or a related discipline.
Ability to integrate theory and practice.
Proficiency in French (language of instruction).

University teaching experience.
Work experience with vulnerable or marginalized groups, preferably in Ontario.

Responsibilities

Teach the course "Intégration des expériences de stage II" (TSO4510 B00).
Conduct reflections on ethics and intervention experience in various internship settings.
Facilitate critical analysis of students' own practices in relation to their values as a social worker.
Discuss issues encountered during internships.
Explore possible alternatives in intervention.
Conduct internship visits at the beginning and end of the session with internship organizations for supervision.
Participate in meetings with internship organizations (which may occur off-campus).
