About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position to teach Statistique descriptive (Descriptive Statistics), Course Code: STA1791, Section: A00, for the 2026 Fall Semester. The course covers elements of descriptive statistics including histograms, box plots, sample mean and standard deviation, elementary probability, the normal distribution, statistical estimation and hypothesis testing, correlation, and regression. Examples will be analyzed using statistical software. The expected enrollment is 30 students, and the course is 3 credits. The language of instruction is French.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Mathematics.
• Expert level knowledge of LaTeX.
• Must coordinate (across all sections).
• Article 5.1.2 will apply.
• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience teaching MAT1771 (Statistique descriptive).
